What are the controls for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

Fortunately, most of the same controls that work for the main character also work for Koraidon and Miraidon. The big difference is that the B button is used to jump with Koraidon and Miraidon. In order to fly with these Pokémon, you need to double-tap the B button.

Left Joystick: control character and move around/scroll through options in battle Select: pull up Pokedex Start: call for Koraidon/Miraidon Home: go back to the Home screen A: select/interact/talk to NPC B: cancel/jump with Koraidon/Miraidon X: pull up Menu Y: Pull up Map Right Joystick: control camera R: Let’s Go command (sends Pokémon out of Pokeball to fight enemies in the overworld) ZR: call back a Pokémon that Let’s Go has been used on L: refocus camera ZL: switch camera view

There have also been some quality-of-life improvements on the battle screen. Most notably, you can now press the X button to use a Poke Ball immediately.
