Each time a new expansion releases in WoW, all sorts of new things are added, and that goes for gems too. With the overhaul to the crafting system in Dragonflight, gems are arguably more important than ever. Here’s a look at every gem in Dragonflight. Each of these gems is named after one of the Dragon Aspects, and they each provide different stats between stamina, haste, versatility, mastery, and critical strike. These are the common gems, but Dragonflight also added four Diamond gems that require a crafter to make. What Diamond you choose to get crafted will depend on your class and what stats you choose, so make sure you don’t waste your materials on one you don’t need.

Where to get more Gems in WoW Dragonflight

Every gem outside of the Diamonds can be found in the open world of the Dragon Isles through mining, but there’s a low chance of finding them on a node. A much easier method is to hit the Auction House and spend your gold on what you need. For the Diamonds, you’ll need to either craft it yourself or send in a Crafting Work Order. These are the best gems for your gear, and you’re only able to use one at a time.
