All Mini Medal Locations In Dragon Quest Monsters The Dark Prince
Where to find every Mini Medal in The Dark Prince (Dragon Quest Monsters)
Mini medals love to hide in obscure locations, particularly in breakable jars and seasonal areas. I’ve divided this guide by how the locations are divided in the game’s Zoom list.
Terrestria
Diabolic Hall, Gaol
Inside the castle’s prison, there’s a breakable vase with a min medal in it in one of the cells.
Circle of Conquest
Lower Echelon
You can find the mini medal inside this breakable vase. Just walk behind the Laboratory. Once you enter the Arena, climb up one floor and exit to the Arena’s benches. It’s in a vase on the northwest side.
Middle Echelon
There’s a well near Dun Malin (see location above). Enter it to find a mini medal in a pot. The next mini medal is in Dun Maulin itself. The pot behind the local bank has it. To reach this mini medal, wait for the season to be Spring. Ride this flower to this separate area. The mini medal is in a red treasure chest.
Upper Echelon
What it says. Behind the Hopeful Haven, there’s a pot with a mini medal in it. In the northwest Shrine of Power, there’s a red treasure chest with a mini medal in it. It’s located in the west room. During the Winter, walk on top of this frozen lake to reach a red treasure chest. There’s a mini medal in it. Just after you beat Dolph, don’t forget to crack this pot before going in.
Circle of Temper
Lower Echelon
The mini medal in Dragglenook is located in breakable vase right here on the far south. When it’s Autumn in the Circle of Temper, some platforms activate (they go up and down). Ride the one I’ve circled on the map and climb the arc beside it. The mini medal is in a treasure chest. During Spring, the geysers turn into holes and shoot up gusts of wind. You can ride some of them (marked with a pink flower) to reach places you normally can’t. One of these is this island on the east side of the area. The mini medal is in a treasure chest.
Middle Echelon
During Spring, ride the wind on this encircled spot to reach the island in the center of the lava. There’s a red treasure chest with a mini medal inside. This spot in the Middle Echelon can only be accessed during the Summer (a rock should break). There’s another red treasure chest with a mini medal inside. You can find your mini medal in a pot on this spot of the Sepulchre of Flame. On the northwest of the Sepulchre of Flame, there’s another pot with a mini medal in it.
Upper Echelon
What it says. During Summer, approach this part of the map to reveal a red treasure chest with a mini medal in it. At this location, there is a treasure chest with a mini medal in it. One the very first floor of Dragonpaste, there’s a pot with a mini medal it in. This one’s a bit of a doozy to get to, but don’t get too confused! Once you reach the “6F” (or the floor with the yellow totem with two bridges), keep rotating the platform so that you’re able to walk to the one I’m on above. There’s a pot with a mini medal on it.
Circle of Indulgence
Lower Echelon
The Honeyton mini medal is in a pot in one of its houses. During Spring, walk in the direction I’ve indicated above to reach the cotton candy that will take you to this small cliff. The mini medal is in a treasure chest. On the second floor of Hotcake Keep, there’s a small room guarded by Croc-a-Bugle-Doo. Break one of the pots behind them to find your mini medal.
Middle Echelon
Once you’ve reached the local “plaza,” walk behind the throne and break one of the vases. It contains a mini medal. During Autumn, climb the Pumpkins on the east side of the map until you reach the highest platform. There is a red treasure chest with a mini medal on it. During Winter, there’s this small patch of land you can only walk to when the water is frozen. There’s a red treasure chest with a mini medal on it, too. After you climb the long stairs up to the second floor, first visit this neighboring room. There’s a red treasure chest with a mini medal on it.
Upper Echelon
From Rosehill Tower, jump down to this specific to claim your mini medal in a red chest. During Winter, look for a red treasure chest stuck between these two frozen lakes. There is a red treasure chest at the location above that contains a mini medal. There is a mini medal in a kitchen pot. Its location is above! Just after you climb the stairs to 3F, you can walk first to this open space before moving to another room. There is a pot with a mini medal in it here.
Circle of Caprice

The El Fayun mini medal is in a pot, like most other city medals. The location is above. You heard it. Look for this well in the area (it’s near the Gleaming Grotto) and enter it. The mini medal is in a pot. In Autumn, enter this now-drained lake and walk into one of the concrete houses. The mini medal should be in a pot. During the winter, cross this frozen lake to reach a red treasure chest on a pile of snow.
Middle Echelon
Buried in the sand like the menace that it is, there’s a pot that contains a mini medal. Same situation as above. The mini medal is inside a buried vase. The last buried pot of the area! Its location is depicted above. Remember the “home” of the local village chief you met? One of the vases in it contains a mini medal. The mini medal pot you’re looking for is in a room a little near the entrance. See where my character is standing on the map above! The second mini medal pot is also on the first floor, just beside this room divider. You’ll go through it on your way up, no worries. On the opposite side of the map, there’s another mini medal in a pot.
Upper Echelon
The first mini medal of this area’s Upper Echelon is located on top of a platform near the bottom of the map. Its location is above! This one was an accidental find, but see those ledges on the northwest end of the map? There’s a red treasure chest with a mini medal in it. Allow yourself to fall from the top since the cliffs are steep. What it says! Just before you enter Aamon’s Sanctum, you can find a breakable pot with a mini medal in it.
