All Playable Characters in Sea of Stars

There are six main playable characters you will meet throughout the story. While Zale and Valere are your main controlled characters, you may get to control some of these characters as well occasionally during specific parts of the story. During battles, you will have access to all characters currently in your party and swap them out as you like. You can open your Inventory menu with Y at any time to see all the characters you have available. Characters held in your Cargo slot are unfortunately not playable at all; you will just have access to them at key moments or campsites. You will unlock access to each character below as you progress through the story. Take a look at the list of all playable characters here:

Valere - Lunar Monk Available from the start Zale - Solar Blade Dancer Available from the start Garl - Warrior Cook Available from the start Serai - Assassin Available after the Town of Lucent Resh’an - Immortal Alchemist Available after Docarri Village B’st - Living Glass Golem Available after Lost Ones Hamlet

Each character can provide you with useful skills in battle and create amazing combos with your other team members.
