ARK: Survival Ascended is an enhanced version of ARK: Survival Evolved with new servers. However, fans were actually surprised at how enhanced it is. ARK: Survival Ascended has some hefty requirements on PC, even for the minimum specs. Those looking to take advantage of everything ARK: Survival Ascended has to offer must meet the recommended specifications. If you find your PC unable to run ARK: Survival Ascended, you may need to wait until the console release. ARK: Survival Ascended is available on PC starting October 25, 2023, but won’t be on consoles until November 2023. Still, waiting a month is better than having your PC catch fire. The Unreal Engine 5 appears to have given the team at Studio Wildcard a much improved visual engine to create a more high-end, realistic-looking world. They’ve also added an improved physics and lighting system, rehauling almost everything from the original ARK: Survival Evolved.
