There are multiple ways you can build Xinyan. Opt for the following weapon options (depending on your preferred build): Five-star options:

Best Artifacts for Xinyan in Genshin Impact

Xinyan suffers from a split-scaling kit, where her DPS output is based on Attack, while her shield is based on Defense. As a result, I recommend you choose your preferred kit from the get-go and build Artifacts accordingly:

Sands: Energy Recharge (Physical DPS or shield support) or Attack percent (any DPS) or Defense (shield support) Goblet: Physical Damage or Pyro Damage or Defense (depending on build) Circlet: Crit Rate or Crit Damage (for any DPS build), Defense (for shield support)

Meanwhile, you can choose any of the following Artifact combinations:

Four-piece Emblem of Severed Fate (best for DPS) - a great option that boosts Energy Recharge and Xinyan’s Ult, which is her main value proposition. It’s also a versatile Artifact set that can be swapped around various characters, so it’s great value to build. Four-piece Tenacity of the Millelith (option for shield support) - if you’re using Xinyan exclusively as a shielder, you may want to consider the Tenacity of the Millelith set for its passive, which offers Attack and shield strength party bufffs. Two-piece Bloodstained Chivalry + two-piece Pale Flame (best for Physical DPS) - combining these two pieces will give Xinyan a collective Physical Damage increase of 40%.

Best Party Members For Xinyan

Mono Pyro Team - Xinyan can be slotted as a sub-DPS or shielder into a Mono Pyro team, which has been popularized by Fontaine DPS Lyney. Physical Team - Xinyan can be slotted in a Physical Damage team, which requires an Electro sub-DPS/support (i.e. Kuki Shinobu, Beidou, Fischl) and Cryo sub-DPS/support (i.e. Rosaria, Shenhe, Diona, Layla). You can also include a Pyro support for resonance (i.e. Bennett). Burgeon Team - Xinyan is viable in Burgeon teams when built as a Pyro DPS, but she may not be as effective as more consistent Pyro applicators. If you go for this option, include a Dendro applicator (i.e. Nahida) and Hydro sub-DPS (i.e. Xingqiu, Yelan). You can add any desired support in the final slot.
