Dead By Daylight Players Accuse Developers Of Skin Price Inflation Following Store Update 7 7 0

While this is understandable, considering how many cosmetics there are in Dead by Daylight across both Survivors and Killers, this change is mostly positive.

Dead by Daylight Prices Change with 7.7.0 Update

If you have been a long-time player of Dead by Daylight, you have probably noticed that the prices of various cosmetics of the same rarity were inconsistent. Even a different color of the same outfit can be more expensive. The DBD 7.7.0 update will bring a visual overhaul and a QOL change to the store, but what’s more important is that they are now standardizing cosmetic prices across all rarities. According to Behaviour Interactive on X @DeadbyDaylight, around 130 cosmetics will recieve a cost reduction in the update, while only three will get a price increase. Fans on X haven’t responded to the news well, claiming Shard inflation. While the cosmetic prices are pretty expensive in general, we can all agree, that this change is actually a good thing considering so many items will become cheaper. Since Dead by Daylight consistently brings out new collections like the recent one based on metal band Slipknot, this means you can plan ahead and have some Shards saved up. You can check out the new prices in the table below, which will go live with the 7.7.0 update on April 23rd.

Three DBD cosmetics get a price increase

Compared to how many are becoming cheaper, only three cosmetics are getting a price increase in DBD, which is really not that bad. The most expensive change is the Classic Ghost Face head. And if you really want these items, you can still get them in the store at the lower price before they become more expensive on April 23rd.
