How to Access the Christmas Event in Dress to Impress

When you first spawn in Dress to Impress, head outside in the lobby and look for the blue portal leading to Winter Town (it’s on the right side of the outdoor section of the lobby, next to a snowman and some presents). Unlike the Halloween update, there’s no need to finish a round of Dress to Impress before you can gain access to the quests, so enjoy getting started right away! Winter Town also offers more flexibility when it comes to player count. You can go on the quests with friends, other players in your server, or even go solo by hopping into the single-player cabin of the Winter Town train. Enjoy choosing from one-player, two-player, four-player, or eight-player for your quests.

How to Complete Chapter 1 of the Christmas Lana Quest in Dress to Impress

Chapter 1 kicks off with a festive but chaotic cutscene featuring Holly, who is in a bit of a panic over Santa’s sudden disappearance. Your first mission is to find Santa’s Workshop.

Finding Santa’s Workshop

After the cutscene, head forward toward the signpost displaying three directions: “?,” “Santa’s Workshop,” and “Obby.” Walk right, and you’ll spot a cabin with a glowing purple and black portal door. Step inside to enter Santa’s Workshop.

Packing Presents

Once you’re inside, another cutscene will explain the situation: Holly and the elves need your help packing presents. The task is straightforward but requires quick thinking and coordination. You’ll need to pack seven presents in two minutes to complete this part. Inside the workshop, you’ll see four types of gifts in the middle of the room: As empty gift bags travel on the conveyor belt, look for the bubble above each box that shows which presents belong inside. Grab the required gifts from the center of the room and place them into the correct boxes before they reach the end of the belt. If you’re playing alone, it’s best to prioritize boxes needing only one or two items to keep things manageable. Successfully pack seven boxes, and you’ll be ready for the next challenge.

Candy Forest Obby

Once the presents are packed, Holly will send you on to the Candy Forest Obby, a tricky course filled with peppermint platforms, spinning candy canes, and plenty of opportunities to slip up. The obby begins with peppermint candies and candy canes serving as stepping stones. Taking it slow and jumping one platform at a time will help you avoid mistakes. Next, you’ll encounter a section with large gummy candies. These are bouncy, so timing your jumps is key. Carefully edge toward the sides of each gummy to gain control over your trajectory. The dark blue gummy at the end is not bouncy, so jump directly to the red pastilles from there. The pastilles section features a sharp, spinning candy cane blade that’s overly sensitive to movement. You’ll need to either out-jump it or time your jumps to avoid it altogether. Once you clear the blade, you’ll face rotating candy canes and a chocolate bridge. Timing is everything here - wait for an opening in the rotation before making your move. Finally, you’ll come to a wall adorned with peppermint candies sticking out. Use them as handholds to climb to the top. Once you’ve successfully reached the summit, Chapter 1 of the Christmas Lana Quest will conclude, and you’ll be ready to start Chapter 2.

How to Complete Chapter 2 of the Christmas Lana Quest in Dress to Impress

When you enter Chapter 2, you’ll meet Rudy the Reindeer. After a brief cutscene where Rudy greets you and shares the importance of your mission, the reindeer takes flight.

Flying with Rudy

You’ll be riding on Rudy’s back as you soar through the icy skies toward the Ice Cave. The flight sequence is as exhilarating as it is challenging. Along the way, Rudy will encounter a variety of obstacles (snowmen and presents) and helpful boosts (wreaths). Your goal is to make it through the course unscathed while reaching the Ice Cave as quickly as possible.

Reaching the Ice Cave

After successfully navigating the skies, Rudy will land at the entrance of the Ice Cave. This marks the end of the flight sequence, but your journey is far from over. Inside the Ice Cave, you’ll encounter a trio of sleighs. Each sleigh leads to a different location, but only one will take you forward.

Choosing the Correct Sleigh

To continue the Chapter 2 quest, you’ll need to interact with and ride the right sleigh. Once you’ve ridden the right sleigh, you’ll arrive at a large, imposing door. This door serves as the final checkpoint for Chapter 2. Interact with it to end the chapter.

How to Complete Chapter 3 of the Christmas Lana Quest in Dress to Impress (Boss Fight)

You’ll begin Chapter 3 at the entrance of a sealed door. To open the door, you’ll need to thaw it using a timed mini-game. A temperature gauge will appear on-screen, and you’ll need to click when the pointer lands in the green section to progress. Successfully landing in the green multiple times will heat up the gauge and open the door, allowing you to proceed to the boss fight. Well, this was unexpected. Kind of. Agamemnon is back and he’s taken over Santa Claus to get to you.

Santa Claus Boss Fight

The battle against Santa Claus is divided into two parts: You’ll have three hearts of health for the entire fight, with each hit you take reducing your health by half a heart. This means you can only take six hits before failing and needing to restart the encounter.

Health Management

I’d advise playing this chapter with other players because they can unthaw you if you die, and you can keep playing instead of being sent back to Winter Town.

How to beat Santa Claus (Boss Fight Part 1)

In the first part of the boss fight, you’ll battle Santa Claus in a snowy arena. Your main task is to pick up presents that land around the arena and throw them at Santa to damage him. Interacting with a present will automatically throw it at Santa, but you’ll need to act fast—presents explode after a few seconds if left untouched.

Santa Claus’ Attacks

Santa uses several attacks during the first part of the boss fight, which you’ll need to dodge while continuing to throw presents.

Santa Claus, Puppet of Darkness (Boss Fight, Part 2)

After defeating Santa Claus, he transforms into Santa Claus, Puppet of Darkness, and the arena changes to reflect his new dark power. The mechanics for this second part of the boss fight are similar to the first, as you’ll still need to throw presents at him to deal damage. However, his attacks become more complex and frequent.

Like in part 1, you’ll need to continuously throw presents while avoiding these attacks. Santa Puppet’s health bar will take longer to deplete, but persistence and precision will win the day.

Winter Town Boss Fight Rewards

Once you’ve defeated Santa Claus, Puppet of Darkness, a cutscene will play, marking the end of the Christmas Chapter 3 quest. As a reward for your efforts, you’ll receive the Frigid Awakening Badge and the following exclusive items: You can access these rewards in the Dressing Booth, located in the Dressing Room during any round of Dress to Impress or in the Freeplay Servers.

How to Unlock the Secret Room in Winter Town (Dress to Impress)

Chapter 2 of the Dress to Impress Christmas event holds an intriguing secret for players who are ready to go off the beaten path. To access the secret room, you’ll need to return to Chapter 2 and complete the first part of the quest, where you ride with Rudy the Reindeer. Complete this part of the quest like you did last time until you arrive at the ice cave featuring three sleighs. To unlock the secret area, you must choose the left sleigh.

What is The Fountain Code for Chapter 2 of the Christmas Lana Quest

The left sleigh will take you to a chilly, secluded room with a fountain in the center. The fountain will prompt you to enter a code. The correct code is: PALINGENESIA Once you input the code, you’ll earn a badge confirming you’ve unlocked the secret area. However, you’ll need to leave the game and rejoin to proceed. Re-enter the game and head back to Winter Town. Walk towards the train station, but instead of boarding a train, look across the platform, opposite the Chapter 3 train. There, you’ll notice an area that’s boarded up. With the badge you earned from entering the code, the game will now recognize you as eligible to enter this hidden location. Upon entering, you’ll find yourself in a temple adorned with majestic pillars and statues. A short but cryptic cutscene will play, showing a reindeer transforming into a girl, who boards a ship as she says farewell to “O,” who was standing over her when she transformed. The scene ends without further context, leaving players with a hint of a larger story yet to be told in Dress to Impress.

Other Winter Town Activities in Dress to Impress

The three chapter quests aren’t the only thing you can find in Winter Town! DTI really went all-out to create a cozy area for us players this season. Once you load into Winter Town, turn around and head into the cafe behind you. Here, you can order various treats and drinks and sit with them in the cafe or walk around and take cute in-game photos. Alternatively, find yourself a pile of snow to pick up snowballs! You can throw these - they don’t go far, but it’s a fun addition to Winter Town. Lastly, over the bridge, you’ll see an ice skating rink with a Christmas tree in the center. If you walk onto the rink, your avatar will start ice skating, no matter what you’re wearing.
