Final Fantasy 2 Pixel Remaster Bestiary Locations
Final Fantasy 2 Pixel Remaster - All Bestiary monsters and their locations
If you’re anything like me, you love fully completing games; there’s nothing quite like seeing that shiny 100% achievements badge. And to get that in Final Fantasy 2 Pixel Remaster means filling out the Bestiary completely, including bosses and minibosses, which took me around 20 hours to do—significantly longer than Final Fantasy 1 Pixel Remaster’s Bestiary. Note that some monsters are missable in Final Fantasy 2 Pixel Remaster, which I’ll note next to its Bestiary entry below so you know to find and beat it when you first go to that area. If you miss any monsters, unfortunately, the only way to add them to your Bestiary is to start a new game, which also means a complete progress wipe on every enemy you’ve found so far. So be careful and track as you go to avoid disappointment!
How to complete the Bestiary in Final Fantasy 2 Pixel Remaster
To complete the Bestiary in Final Fantasy 2 Pixel Remaster, you must find and defeat at least one of the following enemies:
Where to find the Bestiary in Final Fantasy 2 Pixel Remaster
To access the Final Fantasy 2 Pixel Remaster Bestiary, select Extras on the main menu and then Bestiary to pull up the list of all the monsters you have found in the game so far and, if found, their map location. It won’t show you the enemies you’ve yet encountered, so you’ll see ??? in place of those you still need to find. To see how many enemy types you have left to discover in Final Fantasy 2, look at Encountered in the top section of the Bestiary, where it will display ?/128 (? being the number you’ve found so far).
