Helldivers 2 Pc Players Are Suffering From Terrible Performance Problems

The Helldivers subreddit has multiple posts reporting performance issues, frame drops, crashes, and more. Numerous players say they had no issues playing the game at high settings and getting 60+ FPS, but now have to drop to medium settings in order to get a stable framerate. Regardless of the root cause of the performance issues, players have been quick to voice their outrage.

While no one is certain about what specifically triggers the performance issues, it does seem that the new update seems to be the culprit. Some users report opening the menu causes the frame drops, while others say using the FAF-14 Spear is the problem, but some even say they get frame drops as soon as their ship appears on screen.

Arrowhead has acknowledged the issue and seems to be investigating to push out a fix. However, it may take some time before the issue is resolved, so don’t be surprised if you see FPS loss for a while.
