Here S A Wuthering Waves Terminology Guide For The Honkai Star Rail Trailblazer
Originally created by TikTok user @kuripuutk, this infographic was shared on Reddit for all of the new Wuthering Waves players to find. Kuripuutk also created a similar infographic for Genshin Impact players who are playing Wuthering Waves. All Honkai Star Rail players are familiar with the Star Rail Pass and the Star Rail Special Pass. These items are used to pull rare characters and items from Honkai Star Rail Banners. In Wuthering Waves, there aren’t any Star Rail Passes, but they have items that do the exact same thing. To pull special characters and items from the banners in Wuthering Waves, you’ll need three different items: Lustrous Tide, Radiant Tide, and Forging Tide. Lustrous Tide acts as the more common Star Rail Pass, while Radiant Tide is similar to a Star Rail Special Pass. What’s new here is the introduction of a weapon banner-only item. You need Forging Tide to pull from weapon banners in Wuthering Waves.
What are the main characters called in Wuthering Waves?
You are no longer a Trailblazer, you are a Rover. As is typical of gacha RPGs, you get a choice of a female or male Rover at the start of the game, and then you’ll be dropped into the world of Wuthering Waves to find Astrite instead of Stellar Power. Honkai Star Rail players are likely to pick up on the terminology very quickly because Wuthering Waves shares similar themes and names. For example, Credit in Star Rail becomes Shell Credit in Wuthering Waves, and Skill is Resonance Skill. Although Honkai Star Rail and Wuthering Waves aren’t made by the same developers, there are clear similarities between the game — as much as there are between Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves.
