Modern Warfare 3 Campaign has 15 missions in total, some of which are called Open Combat Missions, or OCMs, in which you are allowed to complete the objectives as per your approach, somewhat similar to Spec Ops.

How long does it take to beat MW3?

On average, it takes between six to eight hours to beat all 15 main missions in MW3. Personally, it took me seven hours to go through the campaign at a moderate pace.
