Fortunately, this isn’t a case where you simply have to wait for the developer to fix the game; a variety of solutions are available. If one doesn’t work for you, simply try the next (or a combination of them).

Disable decals

Download Buffout 4 (one of the official recommended mods) Navigate to your Fallout 4 install folder > Data > F4SE (either C:\GOG Games\Fallout 4 or Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Fallout 4).
