Anime Adventures - how do you get Anniversary Dragon Balls?

If you want to get the limited unit Issai, or any of the special wishes granted by Shenro, you’re going to need to collect seven Anniversary Dragon Balls for each wish. There are two ways to get them: you can get one guaranteed Anniversary Dragon Ball every 24 hours by completing the Anniversary Island daily dungeon, or you can get them from Anniversary Star capsules. 

Anniversary Dragon Balls from Anniversary Island

To get to Anniversary Island, go to Neo-Tokyo and head to the Play area. Once inside, walk right to the very end of the mall and you’ll find the Anniversary Island entrance. Note that this is a hard level and is unsuitable for brand-new players (I recommend bringing some Air units, while Slow and Stun abilities are also very useful). You can only complete the dungeon once per day, after which a 24-hour timer will begin. However, you are guaranteed one Anniversary Dragon Ball each time you complete all 20 levels. 

How to get Anniversary Stars

To get Anniversary Star capsules you’re going to need to grind through any map on Infinite Mode. While you can grind to your heart’s content to get these Anniversary Stars, the downside is that you’re not guaranteed to get an Anniversary Dragon Ball in each capsule. You will usually get Gems or Star Fruit Capsules from them, though, so it’s still worth doing. In my experience, the drop rate is roughly one Dragon Ball in every five to 10 Stars.
