How can I get collateral kills in Modern Warfare 3?

You’re given a collateral kill medal after taking out two or more enemies in one shot, preferably with a Sniper Rifle. For this achievement, at least two enemies need to be in your line of fire, as shown in the first image above. The same bullet that kills the first enemy should go through the next one, killing them, and you’ll get a collateral kill medal (second image). Therefore, this achievement is best earned using a Sniper or Marksman Rifle because these weapons have a one-shot kill potential. But let me tell you that you may have a hard time getting collateral kills and getting into the perfect situation, for it may happen once in a while. Also, I sometimes didn’t get any collateral kill medal, even after killing two enemies with one bullet, which may be a bug.
