At the time of this article’s publication, Gems can only be obtained by purchasing them from the in-game store with Robux. The full price breakdown of these Gems can be found below.

200 Gems - 299 Robux 1,000 Gems - 1,399 Robux 4,000 Gems - 4,999 Robux 10,000 Gems - 9,999 Robux

Not much more information is known about how Gems will be obtained in the future, but I assume you’ll earn a small amount of Gems each time you complete a TTD map.

What do Gems do in TTD?

Gems can be used to purchase the Exclusive Spider Crate, which contains the following units:

Speaker Spider - 70% pull chance Camera Spider - 29.9% pull chance Spider TV - 0.1% pull chance

These units are the first ones of their kind, as they’re marked with a special Moveable tag.
