How to earn the DOPPELGANGER bage in Apeirophobia

The DOPPELGANGER badge isn’t too difficult to get, but you’ll need the help of some other players or friends. Plus, if you don’t like jumpscares, it may be a bit more of a complicated task for you since the main objective for this badge is to die at the hands of your doppelganger. Here’s how: To start, open a room and select Level 5, Cave System. This is the level that has the doppelganger monster. However, you’ll also want to make sure you leave your lobby unlocked for others to join or invite some friends to join before hopping in. Multiple people need to be present in the game for the doppelganger to have your appearance. If you’re playing solo, the monster will just be a shadow. Once you hop into the level with a few other players, start wandering around the cave, or pick a nice spot with your back to the wall and start whistling with H. You’ll always want to keep your flashlight on with F so you can see more clearly. You should see some figures with glowing eyes wandering around in the dark, and hopefully, one that may look like you. Once the monster approaches, let them run into you to initiate the jumpscare and kill you, allowing you to earn the DOPPELGANGER badge. While this may not be too difficult a task, you do need to make sure the doppelganger monster has your appearance in order to earn the badge. Restart lobbies if you can’t seem to get them to spawn, and good luck; even when expecting the monster to jumpscare, I managed to get scared each time.
