How To Use The Motion Sensor In Phasmophobia

Phasmophobia Motion Sensor guide

To start, pick up the Motion Sensor from the van and place it on a wall or the floor inside the room where you suspect the ghost to be. Upon placing it, it emits a red beam that indicates its range of effectiveness. Whenever an object, ghost, or player passes through that red light, it shines a bright light, sounds a beep, and shows a green indicator on the van’s monitor.

How much is the Motion Sensor in Phasmophobia?

Motion Sensor is one of the pricier items, costing you $100. To buy, head over to the Ghost Equipment store beside the main menu in the lobby. Click on the screen and select Motion Sensor to buy it.

Tier 1 (Level 5): The most basic Motion Sensor with one laser to detect the ghost. Tier 2 (Level 45): A more advanced version of the Motion Sensor with two beams to accurately tell you the location of the ghost along with a beep indicator. Tier 3 (Level 74): The most advanced Motion Sensor that you can only place on the floor, and it detects ghost activity in a spherical range. When it detects the ghost, the sensor turns towards the ghost and sounds a beep.
