How Influence works in Star Wars KOTOR 2

Party members gain and lose influence points depending on specific actions or dialogues you choose throughout your playthrough. Each gain/loss equates to eight to twelve points, and all characters start with 50 influence with a maximum and minimum of 100 and 0, respectively. For example, taking a “good” action results in some party members losing points from their starting 50 while others gain influence. Influence can also affect a party member’s alignment and can also unlock bonuses and additional dialogue. This system works similarly to how you can influence certain individuals in Disco Elysium. Here’s a table of action types and what they do to each party member’s influence points:
