Last Epoch Tier List All Masteries Ranked

This crowdfunded RPG is in constant development, and Eleventh Hour Games keeps updating its patch notes. That’s why this list is not definitive, and it’s prone to change.

Best Masteries Tier List - Last Epoch

Best Masteries in Last Epoch

S-Tier

Necromancer

Necromancers are masters of undead minions. They can control them but also build and sacrifice them for some bigger units. This makes Necromancers very versatile and valuable mastery.

Sorcerer

Sorcerer is a classic spell-flinging class. He can cast elemental spells and deal significant AoE damage. The sorcerer’s mastery increases his spell damage and mana amount.

A-Tier

Bladedancer

Bladedancer is just a fancy name for good old assassin. He has all the tools for the work from the shadows. Bladedancer’s combat style leaves him open, but his dodge ability makes up for it.

Paladin

One of the most versatile masteries. Paladin is, in short, a combination of healer and fire wielding damage dealer. Paladin can also be a spellcaster tank, thanks to his increase of magic defense while he holds his shield.

B-Tier

Forge Guard

The Forge Guard gameplay revolves around physical damage and Bleeds ability. However, his mastery bonuses are focused on defense.

Beastmaster

This is a Hunter mastery that can control his hunting companions. However, Beastmaster’s companions aren’t disposable, as with Necromancer, and they have to be revived.

C-Tier

Shaman

Shaman is a naturalist class, like Beastmaster. However, unlike him, his gameplay revolves around placing totems on the ground. Those totems serve as a catalyst for powerful natural spells.

Spellblade

Spellblade is a mage that took up his sword. It works pretty well, because Spellblade’s melee attacks can create spells too. This is an interesting choice, but weaker compared to upper tiers.
