The Best Units in Seven Deadly Sins Grand Cross
S-Tier
Flame of Life “Ultimate” Escanor - This is the ultimate form of Escanor, who uses fire boosts to strengthen his attacks. The fire variant of Escanor is a scary force and deals massive fire-propelled damage to enemy units. This is a pure attacking character with the biggest damage in the game. Light Transcendent Ban - This is the best Ban’s form, and it adds piercing damage to attacks. He also increases his allies’ hit points and marks his enemies with Mark of Concentration, which allows for Snipe skills. This variant of Ban is the best balanced unit, fit for both attack and defense.
A-Tier
Blue Eleven - Eleven is one of the many guest characters. She’s a great support character who raises the Hero’s damage against the enemies. She inflicts Psychic damage on enemies, too. Psychic damage is hard to defend against, which makes Blue Eleven placed in high ranks. Arthur, Destined Heir - Arthur increases the Hero’s crit damage based on the orb numbers the Hero has at his disposal. If the Hero has all the orbs, the crit damage increases by 50%. A very useful unit that becomes more powerful with the orb number. Critical damage is very important stat to boost.
B-Tier
Elizabeth Mobile Tavern - If the Hero avoids taking damage, Elizabeth increases basic stats by 10% at the beginning of the following turn. She can also use her pet Hawk to inflict damage on enemy units. Very useful unit even in the later game, because her boosts are based on percents. Roxy Mad Destroyer - Not only does Roxy deal explosive damage to enemy units, but she also heals the Hero and fills the Ultimate Move gauge. Her attacks carry the power of volcanic energy. She’s versatile, but not as powerful as the higher ranks.
C-Tier
Helbram Forest Guardian - This unit heals the Hero up to full health once per battle. Helbram can also deal poison damage to enemies and increase attack-related stats on allied units. The full healing saves Helbram from bottom tier. Otherwise, not very useful among the bunch. Gowther Lioness Hero - Gowthier is a Holy Knight that removes damage made from debuffs inflicted on allied units. She can also inflict status effects on enemies and disable their debuff magic. Looks good on paper, but still there are many more better units than Gowther.
D-Tier
Benimaru Kijin - Another interesting guest character. His effect is that 15% more damage is dealt with each time a hero skill is used. She can also decrease enemies’ defenses and attack their weak points. Like Gowther, sounds useful, but not really. Still one of the best units in D-Tier Griamore Iron Wall Knight - Griamore passively increases the Hero’s attack value according to his defense points. He can also assume stances or remove stances from the enemy units. Griamore is too specific, and being a common unit, he’s just the best of the bottom-tier.
