How to use Cheats & Console Commands in Sons of the Forest

To use console commands in Sons of the Forest, you need to download WeMod; this is a third-party cheat/modding client that does not install anything into your game files. It’s purely an outside source injecting cheats into your game. Our advice is always to use this while offline, as WeMod can still get you banned if you play online. After you have downloaded WeMod and created an account, WeMod will find Sons of the Forest if installed, and all you have to do is press Play inside WeMod.

Select a save game and load it or start a new game. Once loaded, press F10 (this is the current button to enable Debug Console), and you should hear a beep—Debug Console Command mode is now activated. Next, all you have to do is press F1 to bring up the console command. As soon as you do. You’ll get a massive list of console commands appearing. Don’t feel overwhelmed, but be careful about using any of these, as we do not know what they all do.

As you start typing, the list filters the results in line with your typed letters. But for some commands to work, you must type on or off after it. One example is godmode. You must type godmode on for it to be enabled. And godmode off for it to be disabled.
