Battle Rifles and LMGs are still better than Assault Rifles as long-range weapons when it comes to time-to-kill (TTK). Therefore, I have made sure to include the best Battle Rifle and LMG builds in the list below.

These are the best loadouts that I suggest using in Season 5 of Warzone 2. There are some other guns like M4, Lachmann-762, RPK, Vel 46, and PDSW 528 that you can also give a try. The newly added FR Avancer is also a good sniper support weapon, but not as good as the Chimera.

Warzone 2 Season 5 Best Perks

Here are the perks that I believe are the best ones to add to your perk package.

Perk 1: Overkill (essential if you want to carry two primary weapons) Perk 2: Double Time / Bomb Squad Perk 3: Fast Hands Perk 4: Birdseye / High Alert

After the update, Bomb Squad prevents you from getting down even if you’re stuck with a lethal. This makes it a great option alongside Double Time. Fast Hands is a no-brainer as the third perk, but you can also pick Restock. Finally, it’s a toss-up between Birdseye and High Alert. Professional players have been using Birdseye a lot recently, but I think High Alert is equally good. I haven’t listed Ghost here because you can find and equip Stealth Vest to stay hidden from UAVs.
