What Does the Add to Wares Mechanic in BG3 do? 

Adding items to wares allows you to send any unwanted items to a special sell menu called the Wares menu. To do so, use the Add to Wares option when speaking to any vendor. To sell wares, simply interact with a merchant and select the Sell Wares option. You can also remove items from wares by visiting a given item’s menu page.

How to add Items to Wares in Baldur’s Gate 3

Players have several options for adding items to wares in BG3, the first of which is to hold the Shift button and left-click on any item in your inventory. You can also right-click an item and select Add to Wares, or right-click on an object and select Pick and Add to Wares.
