Gothic 1 Remake Details

THQ Nordic held a digital showcase on August 12, 2023, where they showed off plenty of upcoming titles along with the Gothic 1 Remake. They released an official trailer showing what players can expect when the game comes out. The trailer, titled “Welcome to the Old Camp,” gives you a sneak peek at the new engine the game is going to be based on. In Gothic 1 Remake, you play a Hero who sets out into a world full of danger and adventure while trying to survive. The Gothic 1 Remake will have an all-new combat system based on its original incarnation, maintaining the same feel along with fancy new graphics and updated mechanics.

Gothic 1 Release Date & Platforms

The Gothic 1 Remake is reportedly coming to PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. THQ Nordic did not specify when the game was going to be released. However, with other THQ Nordic releases coming out around 2024, I would say Gothic 1 Remake has a pretty good chance of releasing around then. This is just my personal hunch; there’s nothing official yet, but I’ll be sure to update this page when more news comes out.
