When is Starfield releasing - Exact Launch Date

Starfield is coming on September 6, 2023. Now that you know the exact launch date, it would be a good idea to choose which Starfield edition to purchase. Of course, the choice also depends on what platform you plan to play Starfield. I’m leaning more toward PC, but playing Xbox is always a more comfortable experience with a lazy bag or couch as an option.

The story behind Starfield’s release date delays

Starfield has been in development since 2013, when the name was trademarked and began active development in 2015. It is looking to be the studio’s most ambitious project since Skyrim. The most recent release from the studio was The Elder Scrolls: Blades in 2020. Prior to that was Fallout 76 in 2018. It’s been a long time since Bethesda has produced anything of “significance,” so fans are hopeful. The most recent delay was announced during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022. Hopefully, this will be the last delay for the highly anticipated title. Sooner would be better, but it’s better to err on the side of caution.
